The Palace Museum's 2024 Annual Pass will be available for purchase from December 1 to December 31, 2023. Sales will commenceat 20:00 on December 1 through the WeChat mini program of the Palace Museum.

Each visitor is limited to purchasingone annual pass. The pass is for the exclusive use of the purchaser and cannot be transferred to another person.

Visitors from the mainland of China shall purchase the pass using their ID cards. Every non-mainland visitor shall purchase the pass using one of the following documents: Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents, Mainland Travel Permit for Taiwan Residents, Residence Permit for Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan Residents, Foreign Permanent Resident ID Card, or passport.

The annual pass, valid from January 1, 2024 to December 31, 2024, grants access to the Palace Museum for ten visits within the validity period.

The annual pass, priced at CNY 300 per ticket, does not include access to the Gallery of Clocks and the Treasure Gallery. Once the pass is sold, it is non-refundable.

To tour the Palace Museum with the 2024 annual pass, visitors shall register at least one day in advance on the WeChat mini program of the Palace Museum . On the day of your visit, please bring the original valid identification document that you used for registration to the Meridian Gate for ticket verification and entry.
