
Recently, in Beijing, the "Welcoming the Loong Year - Chinese Loong in Cultural Relics Special Exhibition" opened at the China Millennium Monument, and the exhibition will last until January 7th, 2024.



This exhibition presents over 200 rare cultural relics from folk artists, including traditional wood carvings, paintings, masks, and shadow puppets. The exhibition will be divided into six sections: The World's Earliest Animation - Shadow Puppet Loong; The Idol of Household - Wood-carved Loong; The Messenger of Emotional Communication - Printed Loong; The Oldest Drama in the World - Nuo Mask Loong; The Diverse Aesthetics of Painting - Color Painted Loong; and The Exquisite Needlework - Embroidery Loong.




Through these contents, the exhibition aims to help people understand the rich achievements and unique creations of loong-themed culture related to different regions and traditions, to explore the diverse aspects of Loong in Chinese folk traditional culture, and to highlight the important role of loong in Chinese beliefs and cultural heritage.
