In addition to skiing, Yanqing can also enjoy lanterns and ice lanterns. On December 21st, the second Flower Lantern Art Festival at the Beijing Expo Park will open. The 3,000-meter-long Prosperous Age Lantern Viewing Corridor will lead tourists into the colorful world of the Expo Park. The simultaneous opening of the Beijing Expo Park Ice and Snow Carnival and the Yudu Mountain Ice and Snow World will create a good place for children to play with ice and snow. In mid-January 2024, the 38th Longqingxia Ice Lantern Art Festival will also open. As the largest and oldest ice lantern art exhibition in North China, the ice lanterns and flower lanterns are crystal clear, and the ice and snow sculptures are spectacular, leading tourists into a brilliant fairy tale world.
