Shunyi New City Riverside Forest Park is located on the Shunyi section of the Chaobai River, starting from the Fengbo Bridge upstream of the Chaobai River to the Xiangjiaoba in Suzhuang, with a length of 12.8 kilometers. The park is divided into six landscape functional areas.

The Waterfront Style Park is located at the northernmost end of the forest park on the east bank of the Chaobai River and is a fishing park. Along the Chaobai River bank, natural water features are used, and bridges, walkways, and leisure activity areas under the trees are built, as well as parking lots. It allows people to get close to the water while leisurely fishing.

The Wetland Exhibition Park is fully utilized to create a wetland landscape. At the road junctions, existing trees are fully utilized, and evergreen plants, deciduous trees, colorful plants, and wetland plants are newly planted to make the landscape rich and the environment pleasant.

The Riverside Culture Park is located on the west bank of the Chaobai River, it is the core landscape belt of the Shunyi Riverside Forest Park. According to different functional characteristics, the park is divided into different spaces, integrating ecological landscape, fitness and entertainment, cultural leisure.

The Forest Recreation Park and Fun Sports Park are also located on the west bank of the Chaobai River. The Forest Recreation Park is more wild and has a canopy of willows, like a natural oxygen bar, which is a rare quiet place in the hustle and bustle. The Fun Sports Park has leisure places such as sports areas, children's activity areas, and natural sports fields, providing different activity spaces for citizens of different ages.
