02 Beijing Exhibition Center: Russian Style

Built in 1954, the Beijing Exhibition Center is the first professional exhibition hall in New China, which was inscribed by Chairman Mao Zedong and the ribbon-cutting ceremony was hosted by Premier Zhou Enlai, it is the birthplace of the exhibition industry in New China.

Beijing Exhibition Center is one of the landmark buildings in Beijing, integrating exhibition halls, catering, tourism, lodging, and entertainment, and was selected as one of the "first batch of China's 20th-century architectural heritages" in September 2016, storing the memories of several generations of people here.

Built at the same time as the main building, the Beizhan Theater is the professional performance theater with the capital's largest single-story capacity, with more than 2,700 seats. The Moscow Restaurant, located on the west side of Beizhan Theater, is one of the earliest Russian restaurants in Beijing and is affectionately known as "Old Mo" by Beijingers.

03 Rending Lake Park: Italian Romanesque Courtyard

Rending Lake Park, which takes the meaning of "Ren Ding Sheng Tian"(Man can conquer nature), is a park built by mobilizing the masses in 1958, and then it has been continuously repaired to form the present Rending Lake Park.

The park mainly focuses on modern gardens, and the southern half of the park is constructed with grass, water features, sculptures, and flower racks, creating a garden environment with a European flavor.

Strolling through the park, you can see European-style Roman columns gate, column corridor, and sculptures... full of exotic flavor, the movie "The Dream Factory" directed by Feng Xiaogang has also set here.

The park includes ancient Rome, Egypt, Babylonian gardens, Islamic courtyards, Versailles gardens, Italian terrace gardens, as well as classical Chinese and other parts, because of its quite exotic retro movie sense, it has become a must-visit destination for tourists.
