On November 21, the 2023 Beijing Chaoyang International Light Festival opened. The light festival revolves around the theme of "Trendy Chaoyang, Brilliant Night", using light and shadow as a medium and art as a setting, showcasing "Chinese Style", "International Style" and "Fireworks Atmosphere" through "colorful" light and shadow scenes and a series of activities, telling the story of Chaoyang to the world and demonstrating the vitality of "Five Benefits" in Chaoyang.

Beijing Chaoyang International Light Festival opened last night. In the next three weeks, Chaoyang will hold hundreds of cultural, tourism and business activities in the whole area of light and shadow art scenes.

At 7 pm, the Olympic Tower at the north end of the central axis flowed with light and shadow. On the large lawn at the south gate of Olympic Forest Park, it twinkled like a galaxy, and a group of light art installations lit up, marking the opening of the first International Light Festival.

In addition to the main venue, the Light Festival also held opening ceremonies for sub-venues in Sanlitun Taikoo Li and Blue Harbor. The "Electric Harp" large-scale art installation at the Sanlitun sub-venue allows visitors to become performers. Blue Harbor creates a full atmosphere, with flash mob dances and light and shadow shows of Cupid sculptures and other light landscapes.

In the next three weeks, the Liangma River and other iconic characteristic areas in Chaoyang District will be the carriers of the Light Festival, covering the Olympic Center area, Dawangjing Business District, CBD, Chaowai Business Circle, Blue Harbor, Sanlitun, Gaobeidian, and other places, including night tours of "Liangma River", night views of "Golden Cross", night tasting of "Chinese Style", night show of "New Chaoyang", and night shopping of "Trendy Business Circle", presenting colorful scenes of "Five Lights".

During the light festival, Chaoyang District will also hold more than 100 characteristic cultural and tourism business activities to support the construction of the capital's "four centers" and international consumption center cities.

Panjiayuan Flea Market, Chaoyang Joy City, Langyuan Station, and other places will hold various cultural and tourism business activities such as eating, drinking, playing, and learning.
