The National Botanical Garden is located in the Western Hills of Beijing and is divided into two parts: the North Park (the former Beijing Botanical Garden) and the South Park (the Institute of Botany of the Chinese Academy of Sciences), both of which have exhibition greenhouses.

The exhibition greenhouse in the North Garden is designed with the concept of "the memory of green leaves to roots", and is divided into four main exhibition areas: tropical rainforest area, desert plant area, four seasons garden, and specialized plant exhibition room, displaying 3,100 species of plants, more than 60,000 plants, and at the same time, it has the world's top three flagship species of greenhouses - giant konjac, Welwitschia, and sea coconut.

The South Garden Exhibition Greenhouse is the oldest plant exhibition greenhouse in Beijing, and now contains nine exhibition rooms, including the Four Seasons Flower Hall, Palm Room, Shady Plant Room, Gymnosperm Room, Insectivorous Plant Room, Fruit Tree Room, Succulent Plant Room, Aquatic Plant Room, and Bodhi Room, with more than 2,000 species of tropical and sub-tropical plants (including cultivated varieties) on display. The exhibition greenhouses not only display linden trees and other "national gift" plants related to new China's diplomacy but also rare plants introduced by researchers from abroad. In the aquatic plant room, you can enjoy water lilies and king lilies with huge leaves throughout the year.

The exhibition greenhouses in the two parks of the National Botanical Garden all have their own specialties. If you have enough time, you can go to the greenhouse in North Garden for a leisurely stroll and enjoy the greenery; if you want to take a quick tour of the garden and enjoy the "national gift" plants, the greenhouse in South Garden is a good choice.
