The Wahuang Palace Scenic Spot is located on Zhonghuang Mountain in She County, Handan City, Hebei Province. It covers an area of 5 square kilometers and consists of five parts: Entrance, Sky-Mending Garden, Sky-Mending Lake, Wahuang Palace and Sky Mending Valley. It is the place where the mythical figure Nu Wa make man out of soil and smelter colorful stones to mend sky in the legend. It is the largest ancient architectural complex in China dedicated to Nu Wa.

In 1996, the Wahuang Palace was listed as a national key cultural relic protection unit. On October 15, 2015, it was rated as a national 5A-level tourist attraction.
