In recent days, the Vanke Shijinglong Ski Resort in Yanqing District, Beijing, has commenced its snowmaking operations. Compared to previous years, snowmaking will be faster this year. It is anticipated to open to the public on November 18, and there will be two primary ski runs and one intermediate ski run. The remaining ski runs are expected to open in mid to late December. The resort can accommodate more than 3,000 people.

The resort covers an area of about 200,000 square meters. Snowmaking has started for all of the 11 ski runs.

The resort management has made thorough preparations to provide good service and safe amenities. The areas for exchanging and returning ski attire, renting lockers and dressing are well-organized, and all specialized equipment is undergoing testing and adjustment. In addition, the resort has specialty restaurants and a children's snow playground, offering a diverse range of choices for visitors.
