The 2023 Beijing Chaoyang International Light Festival will kick off on November 18 and last until December 9. With its "vibrant colors" in light and over a hundred cultural and entertainment events, this early winter will witness the illumination of Chaoyang, dazzling the night with its brilliance.
The "vibrant colors" of light and shadow include the nighttime tour of the "Liangma River," the admiration of the "Golden Cross," the appreciation of "Chinese-style," the night show of the "New Chaoyang," and the night shopping in the "Trendy Business District." These "vibrant colors" are the various colorful scenes. Moreover, the festival features a diverse and colorful "ten-color" nighttime cultural and entertainment scene, including light and shadow art exhibitions, a Michelin food festival, a Concert of Light, and other multifaceted entertainment activities.
This light festival covers a wide area, predominantly along the Liangma River and iconic areas in Chaoyang, spanning the Olympic Center Zone, Dawangjing Business District, CBD Business District, Chaowai Business District, Chaoqing Business District, Gaobeidian, and so on.
Additionally, the festival will offer a fresh visual experience and rich interactive projects. It will invite internationally renowned light art consultants, employing techniques such as the country's first multi-point synchronous light and shadow show and 3D naked-eye projection. These will be used in locations like the Liangma River and the Olympic Tower to create interactive light art pieces, artistic experiential installations, light shows, etc., illuminating the night sky with vibrant colors.
The opening ceremony of the 2023 Beijing Chaoyang International Light Festival will be held at the Olympic Forest Park, with two sub-venues set up in Sanlitun and the Solana Shopping Park. Under the theme "Trendy Chaoyang, Brilliant Night," this will mark the beginning of the 2023 Beijing Chaoyang International Light Festival, unveiling the Chaoyang International Light Festival tourism map concurrently.
Moreover, during the festival, there will be over a hundred cultural and entertainment events. Activities will include setting up a light and shadow experience area at the YanSha Pier, conducting light and shadow shows, occasional performances of light and shadow magic, interactive painting, etc. At Aosen Park, innovative light art installations will be introduced, and in Chaoyang Park, combining small-scale music performances, a food market, interactive gaming experiences, there will be events like the fluorescent run, Michelin food festival, Concert of Light, etc. These events cater to the needs of fashion-conscious individuals seeking various photo opportunities and also meet the demands of families seeking interactive experiences, groups of friends enjoying the scenery with a drink.
