Cuisine Festival
The first Beijing Wtown International Cuisine Festival has kicked off in recent days. This event will be running until November 21.
The inaugural International Cuisine Festival features a selection of 164 specialty dishes from 13 countries, including Italy, France, Japan, Brazil, Thailand, Singapore and Germany. Tourists can indulge in a wide variety of international delicacies, such as Brazilian roasted turkey legs, Italian Pizza Margherita, Thai Pandan Chicken, crispy roasted pork elbow with German sauerkraut, mashed potatoes, and many more.
Among them, the "Fireside Gourmet Feast" on the Sun and Moon Island Square brings together eight unique stove-side specialties from China, Brazil, South Korea, France and Southeast Asian countries. Tourists can experience the town's vibrant culinary scene. When visitors are uncertain about what to eat, the "nutcracker" device at the tourist service center allows them to participate in an interactive "pick and eat" game. During the International Cuisine Festival, the town's custom "Drone Kongming Lanterns Light Show" in the evening adds an exclusive performance tailored for the festival.
