Starting from the city, heading to Yanqing via Beijing-tibet Expressway, we recommend your first stop at the Badaling Safari World, located right next to the expressway. It's the largest mountainous wild animal zoo in China, where you can drive directly into the park.
Driving along the winding route, you can see animals from around the world: Northeast tiger group, brown bears, Malayan bears, wild wolf families, and more. To reach the scenic area, you'll drive along a winding mountain road, where you'll notice the subtle interplay of colors on the mountainsides. The picturesque views throughout your journey perfectly capture the essence of autumn.
Upon entering the area, you'll encounter alpine meadows, the Worry-Free Lake, shaded streams, and the suitable waterfall. Colorful tents dot the meadows, kites dance in the sky, and families with children enjoy a lively and loving journey in close contact with nature, creating a harmonious picture of people and nature.

When visiting Yanqing for autumn scenery, don't miss the high-value self-driving route called the "Baili Landscape Gallery." This scenic area includes one ring, three zones, and twelve spatial nodes, covering 112 kilometers along the riverside, hence the name "Baili Landscape Gallery." When touring the gallery, we recommend you visit three scenic spots: the Petrified Wood National Geological Park, Dishinghu Scenic Area, and Wulongxia Scenic Area.
The Petrified Wood National Geological Park is the main area of the Baili Landscape Gallery. In the fall, the hills are draped in colorful foliage, providing a delightful backdrop to the winding mountain roads. As you drive along, each frame of the scenery you see through the car window is truly captivating.
Dishinghu Scenic Area comprises a unique lake and waterfall. It's the core area of the "Baili Landscape Gallery." Due to ancient tectonic changes, many strangely shaped caves and peculiar landscapes have formed in this area.
Wulongxia Scenic Area belongs to the Mesozoic volcanic lava region, dating back 1.4 billion years. It features a typical deep-cut river valley landscape, with a total length of about 5 kilometers and a river drop of approximately 800 meters.
