The Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism, together with the Beijing Municipal Commerce Bureau, Beijing Municipal Cultural Heritage Bureau, Beijing Municipal Bureau of Sports, Beijing Municipal Forestry and Parks Bureau, China Association of Travel Services, and other units, will hold the 2023 Beijing International Cultural and Tourism Consumption Expo from October 20th to 22nd at the China International Exhibition Center (Chaoyang Hall).
The first Beijing International Cultural and Tourism Consumption Expo in 2023 will have an exhibition area of 20,000 square meters, with a total of more than 350 cultural and tourism companies and institutions participating. Cultural and tourism institutions and companies from 18 countries including France, Serbia, Pakistan, Laos, Jordan, and Mali will participate in the exhibition; enterprises from 20 provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions including Jiangsu Province, Tianjin City, Hebei Province, Chongqing City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Hubei Province, and Guangdong Province will participate; the cultural and tourism bureaus of all districts in Beijing will participate fully. Jiangsu Province, as the guest of honor, will promote and display the results of the integration of "Water Rhyme Jiangsu, More Beautiful with You" in multiple dimensions.
The 2023 Beijing International Cultural and Tourism Consumption Expo will focus on the "four new" themes of new products, new formats, new scenarios, and new goods, presenting the development trend of the cultural and tourism industry in an all-round way.
First, new cultural and tourism integration products meet high-quality consumer demand. CITS, Ctrip, and Zhongxin Travel will launch "Expo Tourism Season" special travel routes, with ticket discounts available; Tesla will bring its latest new energy electric vehicles to the exhibition; innovative companies such as Jinwoniu, Weisu Culture and Tourism, and Dalang Culture and Tourism will showcase the latest camping equipment.
Second, technology empowers new formats and promotes innovation in cultural and tourism integration. iFlytek will launch intelligent voice and artificial intelligence applications; Shenzhen Damo Big Company will bring flying performance drones to the exhibition; SAIC Maxus RV Life Home will present the new trend of intelligent travel life with real vehicles; Zhejiang University's Innovative Computing Technology Research Institute will bring 3D digital avatar intelligent devices; Hangzhou Maipu will present a comprehensive solution for digital smart tourism and intelligent navigation services for tourist destinations.
Third, immersive experience creates new cultural and tourism scenes for extraordinary experiences. Liangma River International Customs Waterfront, "Cool Play at Shougang Park", Yuanmingyuan Shiguang Sell and Buy Street, and "Rongyi Chinese Style Hall" will join forces to showcase innovative and characteristic fashion consumption new scenes. There will also be a new offline experience space for Learning Power: a simulated shooting immersive experience in the national defense education micro-battlefield.
Fourth, "Beijing gifts" light up a better life with new products. Tesla and "Beijing gifts" jointly launched a limited edition cultural and creative product at the exhibition. Pop Mart and "Beijing gifts" jointly released a limited edition co-branded gift box "Beijing Limited" with one thousand sets for the first time. Well-known units and enterprises such as Temple of Heaven Park, Beijing Enamel Factory, Quanjude, National Library Innovation, and Peony Electronics will bring the latest tourism products, launch multiple new cultural and creative products and limited edition IP co-branded trendy products. Many participating units will also start live streaming mode to bring good products into thousands of households.
In addition, the "Second Batch of Beijing Tourism and Leisure Streets" and the "Second Batch of Beijing Micro-vacation Destination Brands", which have attracted much attention before, will also hold licensing ceremonies at the Consumer Expo.
