The China Railway Beijing Group Co.,Ltd.(referred to as "Beijing Railway Administration") announced today that starting from midnight on October 11th, the national railway will implement the fourth-quarter train operation schedule. The capacity for both passenger and freight transportation will be further optimized and enhanced. The railway network will play a more favorable role, better serving national strategies and meeting the production and living needs of the people. In terms of passenger transportation, there will be an addition of 10 pairs of high-speed EMU (Electric Multiple Unit) trains on the Beijing-Zhangjiakou High-Speed Railway, Beijing-Harbin High-Speed Railway, and Beijing-Shanghai High-Speed Railway. Additionally, 4 pairs of EMU trains on the Beijing-Zhangjiakou High-Speed Railway will be upgraded to high-speed EMU trains, providing convenience for passengers traveling to snowy areas. In the direction of the Beijing-Zhangjiakou High-Speed Railway, there will be 4 pairs of EMU trains added, including Beijing North to Hohhot East (D1023/4, D1025/6, D1029/30, D1031/2), 1 pair of EMU trains from Qinghe to Hohhot East (D1033/24), 1 pair of EMU trains from Beijing North to Taiyuan South (D1125/30), and 3 pairs of EMU trains from Qinghe to Taiyuan South (D1127/6, D1129/8). In the direction of the Beijing-Harbin High-Speed Railway, there will be a new train from Tianjin West to Harbin West (G393/G394), and in the direction of the Beijing-Shanghai High-Speed Railway, there will be a new train from Beijing South to Jinan East (G1081/G1082). Some trains will have changes to their starting and ending points. For example, the Beijing West to Ganzhou West (G485/4/5 G486/3/6) will now start from Beijing Station, further promoting exchange and integration between the capital and revolutionary base areas.

Regarding freight transportation, the Beijing Railway Administration will add 2 pairs of direct freight trains between Inner Mongolia Huade and Hebei Caofeidian, providing a more abundant capacity guarantee for regional economic development. They will continue to optimize the operation plan for inter-bureau freight trains. Three new multimodal transport express and ordinary freight trains from Tianjin Port to Pingluo, Huade, and Fengzhen will be added, providing strong support for the transportation of non-ferrous minerals in the northwest region. One new international train passing through other bureaus, one new multimodal transport express train, and one new ordinary freight train will also be added. Meanwhile, they will solidly carry out freight operations, container car guarantee and other transportation organization work for the newly added inter-bureau freight trains, making efforts to improve the quality of train operations, ensuring efficient train transportation, and providing effective support for the stable operation of the national economy.
