The 7th Chinese Opera Culture Week concluded successfully at the Beijing Expo Garden Park on October 4th.
From September 28th to October 4th, nearly 50 outstanding opera troupes and schools from 20 provinces and municipalities jointly presented over 120 performances, more than 100 lectures and discussions, and nearly 200 interactive activities. The event attracted nearly 100,000 visitors from across the China, with a younger audience demographic.
Among them, 30 live broadcasts were held online, landing on multiple online platforms to meet the needs of audiences who couldn't attend in person, accumulating over 20 million views. With the increasing popularity of Opera Culture Week, many internet celebrities also visited the garden and shared their experiences of "appreciating, touring, playing, and shopping" during the event through social media. The total video views and readings related to Chinese Opera Culture Week exceeded 80 million. Media coverage of the event reached 86 countries worldwide, with over 200 mainstream overseas media outlets reposting articles in multiple languages. According to statistics, the total online media views of this Opera Culture Week exceeded 560 million. It presented a rich opera cultural feast to the people and showcased the brilliance of China's outstanding traditional culture, further revitalizing it with vitality and energy.
