Special Exhibition to celebrate the 870th anniversary of Beijing being named the Chinese capital-- The Brilliant Central Axis Exhibition

The exhibition is divided into three parts: Magnificent Central Axis, Cultural Central Axis, and Eternal Central Axis. 53 groups (pieces) of cultural relics from 17 institutions, including the Palace Museum, Luoyang Museum, Anyang Museum, and Xi'an Museum, are used to prove the history of the ancient capital and to tell the story of the "Central Axis" of Beijing.

In addition, there are also old properties related to the Central Axis collected by the public, leading the viewers to travel through 700 years to see the changes of the Central Axis and feel the unique charm of the ancient capital.

Tsinghua University Art Museum

Completed in 2016, the Tsinghua University Art Museum has a collection of 23,675 items, including painting and calligraphy, embroidery, ceramic, furniture, bronze ware, and comprehensive works of art. The majority of the collection comes from the collection of the Academy of Arts since 1956, as well as donations from alumni and public personages.

Art Museum of the Central Academy of Fine Arts

The Art Museum of the Central Academy of Fine Arts (CAFA) is a professional and internationalized modern art museum with the functions of academic research, exhibition display, collection restoration, and public education.

The museum is situated in a curved site, with a stone facade and a curved roof to form a shell shape, and a large area of glass curtains at the entrances and exits, which increases the transparency of the building and meets the need for light. The exterior walls of the museum are covered with grey-green rock panels, in harmony with the grey brick color of other buildings on the Central Academy of Fine Arts campus.

"Sichuan Style Bonsai Art" exhibition

The "Sichuan Style Bonsai Art" exhibition opens to the public on September 12th in the exterior public space of the "Pian Shi Shan Fang" site in The Museum of Chinese Gardens and Landscape Architecture.

The exhibition includes 40 classic bonsai works by contemporary national bonsai masters and young bonsai artists. Meanwhile, 30 pieces (sets) of purple sand pots from the Qing Dynasty to contemporary times from the collection of The Museum of Chinese Gardens and Landscape Architecture will also meet with the visitors in this exhibition, showing the history, culture, and artistic characteristics of Sichuan style bonsai.

The Red Brick Art Museum

The Red Brick Art Museum is famous for its unique red brick construction and it also uses green bricks to create a garden-style art museum with a landscaped courtyard. Heidi Bucher: Beyond the Skins

"Heidi Bucher: Beyond the Skins" is now on display at the Red Brick Art Museum. As the artist's first solo exhibition in China, the exhibition presents more than 100 important works from Heidi Bucher's career, including rediscovered and restored video footage, early drawings and paintings on paper, abstract silk collages, wearable sculptures in Los Angeles, "Skinning" series of architecture and the human body during the height of the artist's creative period, and her late work on Lanzarote Island. Beijing One Art Museum is located in Zhongguancun No.1, Haidian District, the core of Zhongguancun Science City. It is a new cultural landmark of Haidian District.
