The reporter learned from the ''2023 Huairou China-Chic Cultural Festival and Jinqiu Cultural Tourism Promotion Conference'' in Beijing on September 25 that the ''Huairou China-Chic Cultural Festival'' would be held from September 29 to October 6. The event includes many activities, such as a deep mountain bazaar and long table banquets, enabling every participant to turn into a ''market goer''.
Yu Jiaming, deputy head of Huairou District Government, introduced the overall performance of the regional culture and tourism. Revolving around the theme of ''Slow Life Microtourism'', five institutions, including Huairou District Administration of Culture and Tourism, Eve Group, Old Chestnut, Duobu Campsite, and Jinglin Homestay, promoted ''a digital map'', ''a China-Chic Cultural Festival'', ''a string of gifts from Huairou'', ''a series of special activities'', and ''a basket of cultural and tourism routes'', presenting the beautiful natural landscape, quality resources in culture and tourism, and superb humanitarian environment of the district in front of society. Huairou Cultural and Tourism H5 was released on the site of the promotion conference and launched to the public in the form of a long picture and QR code.
At the promotion conference were arts and culture performances that showed the integration of ethnic groups. Singers of minority ethnic groups skilled in singing and dancing coming from southwestern China sang mountain songs by Yanqi Lake.
The promotion conference is a prelude to the upcoming ''Huairou China-Chic Cultural Festival'' that is about to be held in the Yanqi Lake scenic spot. Co-sponsored by Huairou District Government, Eve Group, and Beijing Enterprises Group Co. Ltd., the 8-day-long Festival from September 29 to October 6 features a deep mountain bazaar, interpretations of ethnic groups integration, moonlight concerts, and long table banquets. In line with the unique principle of ''seeing people, objects, and life'', the Festival turns every participant into a ''market goer'', providing an opportunity for them to experience the bamboo pole dance (Tiao Zhugan), intangible cultural heritage handicrafts, dishes served in deep mountains, and special festive activities of different minority ethnic groups, such as Miao, Buyi, Mongolian, Yao, Qiang, and Tibetans.
Huairou, the next step, will continue to integrate the tourism resources of the whole district and join hands with high-quality culture and tourism enterprises to hold the "never-ending China festival, never-ending music festival, and never-ending film festival". Based on its high-quality cultural and tourism consumption products, it will further satisfy the needs of tourists for a better life of culture and tourism and accelerate the construction of the national demonstration area for tourism, striving to brighten the tourism development situation of the municipality.
