Hello Beijing! | "Little Bunny" ICH (Intangible Cultural Heritage) Family Day event is coming!

As Beijing enters autumn, the best season in this city, in the Chinese Year of the Rabbit, why not immerse yourself in Beijing culture? On Saturday, October 14, 2023, we invite expat families who love Beijing and Chinese culture to come to Champs Rouge in Chaoyang District for a fun and interesting parent-child weekend!

This event is sponsored by the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism and plans to invite 40 foreign families living in Beijing to gather together! There will be more than 10 intangible cultural heritage projects on site for parents and children to experience the charming Beijing culture!

Multiple experience areas with rich content and lots of fun will be available:

1. Beijing Opera Experience: Beijing Opera costumes, props experience, photo taking;

2. Autumn Tea Party: Children's tea ceremony learning experience;

3. Beijing Kitchen: Traditional snacks such as Rolling Donkey (glutinous rice rolls stuffed with red bean paste), Gezhihe (crispy, chrunchy rolls), Tuckahoe Pie, Tanghulu (Chinese hawthorns on a bamboo skewer) handmade and tasting experience;

4. DIY Workshop: drawing the Lord Rabbit, kneading Dough Figurine, making kites, and drawing sugar paintings;

5. ICH Sports: Experience games such as kicking shuttlecocks and playing diabolos;

At the same time, there is also a beautiful tea break provided on site! Every child who participates in the event will receive a cute souvenir from "Little Bunny"! Come and enjoy the wonderful ICH activities in Beijing's golden autumn weekend. Looking forward to meeting you and your family on site!
