Recently, the fifth branch of Beijing Public Transport Group, in collaboration with Beijing Tourism Distribution Center, officially launched the tourism special line from Guomao Station to the Mutianyu Great Wall. Passengers can now directly reach the station to enjoy the magnificent scenery of the Great Wall.

The Mutianyu Great Wall, with its long history and grandeur, has attracted many tourists. "It’s so convenient for us residents in the east to take this special line," said Mr. Zhang, who lives near Guomao, as he and his family specifically took this special line to climb the Great Wall at Mutianyu.

It is reported that the tourism special line departs from Guomao Station and directly arrives at the Mutianyu Great Wall. Prior to this, the fifth branch conducted a comprehensive survey in the Guomao area by combining an activity called "Sincere Investigation with Ten Thousand People". They had face-to-face communication with passengers and earnestly listened to their opinions and suggestions regarding the tourism special line. After multiple on-site surveys and active coordination with the Beijing Tourism Distribution Center, the tourism special line from Guomao Station to the Mutianyu Great Wall tourism was jointly created to meet the travel needs of passengers from Guomao, Dawanglu, and other eastern areas.

The fifth branch also provided sign language and English training for the drivers of this special line to provide more attentive services to passengers in need. It is further reported that, based on demand and passenger flow, tourism special lines from the city’s sub-center and three northern counties to famous scenic spots will be opened in a timely manner, providing diverse travel services for the general public.

■ Departure Schedule

The line departs daily from Guomao Station between 8:15 and 8:45, and from Mutianyu Great Wall between 14:30 and 15:00. The price of a one-way ticket is 50 yuan, and the price of a round-trip ticket is 80 yuan. Certificates for free ride cannot be used.
