2023-08-18

Shenghuatun Night Market, adjacent to Guta Park, is situated on the Guta North Road of the Wangsiying area. People can park in Shenghua Driving School, where there is a free parking lot, or on either side of Guta North Road.

Flashing neon lights alongside the road are indicative of the entrance of the night market. Turing at the crossing, one can see the logo of “盛华屯 (Shenghuatun)” and the signal of “停车场 (parking lot)”.

On the street of the night market, many social-media influencers are live-streaming or photographing, while vendors of roadside stands are advertising in their unique way, some of whom even draw inspiration from a TV drama.

There are various popular foods and shop signs with delicacies like macarons, Tiramisu, lemon tea, coffee, chicken gristle, stinky tofu, fried potato, small hamburgers with mushrooms, hot dogs, Thai dishes, etc.

Besides, unmissable snacks such as barbecue, lamb skewers, oysters, kidney pies can also be found in the night market. The sound of oil-dripping and the aroma of roasted meat whet people’s appetite. No passer-by can resist the temptation to eat these foods because they are relatively more affordable.

Brightly colored neon lights and the aroma of foods jointly create an appropriate atmosphere. In addition, there are also lots of stalls that sell music boxes, blind boxes, accessories, etc.

Game stands, whose services include horizontal bar challenges, darts challenges, ring throwing, and balloon shooting, are not uncommon to see in the night market. Delicacies and laughter in the place are reminiscent of open-air markets during the Spring Festival in childhood.

Opening hours: Wednesday to Sunday 17:00-23:00

Traveling suggestions: Navigate to the Guta North Road or the first southern door of Guta Park if traveling by car. The night market is located on Guta North Road with a free parking lot. Both sides of the road are also allowed to park cars.
