As of June 8, the number of listed companies on Beijing Stock Exchange reached 200, representing a twofold increase compared with the corresponding period in 2022. Beijing Stock Exchange has demonstrated steady growth in recent years, with the number of listed companies expanding from 81 to its current figure of 200. Alongside this development, the total market value has nearly reached CNY 270 billion, while the cumulative amount of public offering financing has surpassed CNY 40 billion.

Among the companies listed on Beijing Stock Exchange, the numbers of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and private enterprises now account for 83 percent and 88 percent of all respectively. Almost 80 percent of these enterprises fall within the strategic emerging industries or advanced manufacturing sectors, covering various specific fields such as new-generation information technologies, high-end precision manufacturing, biomedicine, new energy, and new materials. These figures demonstrate the diversified innovation patterns of SMEs in terms of technologies, products, and business models.

The 200 companies listed on Beijing Stock Exchange have demonstrated good performances, achieving an average total operating revenue of CNY 768 million in 2022. This figure represents a year-on-year increase of 21.95 percent. Additionally, the average net profit attributable to the parent companies has also shown a year-on-year rise of 12.12 percent, reaching CNY 71,529,900. A total of 22 listed companies on Beijing Stock Exchange have achieved impressive financial performances, with each of their net profits surpassing CNY 100 million and a profitability rate of 92.5 percent.

Furthermore, a total of 84 listed companies on Beijing Stock Exchange have been included in the list of national specialized, high-grade, and innovation-driven "little giants" that provide distinctive products or services. This figure represents approximately 42 percent of the total number of the businesses in the market. Over 80 percent of enterprises have received accreditation as provincial and municipal-level specialized, high-grade, and innovation-driven businesses that provide distinctive products or services.
