Hongluo Temple
Hongluo Temple was built in the fourth year of the Xiankang period in the Eastern Jin Dynasty, with a strict layout and a majestic atmosphere. In summer, the temple is surrounded by rods of bamboo and acres of ancient pine forests, forming a beautiful painting of “an ancient temple hidden in blue waves".
Hongluo Temple boasts not only a monastery, but also beautiful mountain and forest scenery, making it a great place for hiking and enjoying the scenery. There are three routes in the scenic area. The one most traveled by tourists is the Luohan Road, which is flat and easy to navigate and suitable for children and the elderly; the Guanyin Road is also popular because of the various Guanyin statues enshrined along the road; the middle road is the steepest and less frequented by tourists, but very secluded.
