Yudu Mountain Natural Scenic Area is located in the mountains northwest of Yanqing District, with a total area of about one hundred square kilometers. The area is located in deep mountains, away from the hustle and bustle, with a beautiful scenery and a quiet environment.

The beauty of Yudu Mountain lies in its mountains, rocks, forests, springs, waterfalls, flowers, and grasses, all of which are in perfect harmony. It is characterized by clarity, density, tranquility, and wildness, like heavenly music. Mountains here are surrounded by water, and peaks compete for beauty. The streams in the mountains flow all year round, and the scenes are different in four seasons. As it has been developed and constructed, Yudu Mountain also serves as a wonderful place for leisure tourism, scientific research, and environmental education for Beijing citizens.

Various animals, including birds and insects inhabite in the forest and grass. Gaoxia Pinghu scenic area, with the Minghu Lake water surface covering 120,000 square meters, set in the green valley. Here, visitors can raft, fish, watch birds playing in the water, or express feelings as flocks of birds soaring together. They can also swing at the golf course alongside the lake, and go to Longqing Gorge, to the east of the lake, to discover its secrets. The Yudushan Scenic Area is deep in the mountains with few human traces. It is a little-known gem in the Beijing area and is also a national-level ecological protection area.

Yudu Mountain Scenic Area is located in the upper reaches of Longqing Gorge, at the foot of Haituo Mountain. As a national ecological reserve, it is divided into six scenic areas with a total of 56 landscapes. The scenic area has a high altitude, dense vegetation, and the average temperature is 3-4℃ lower than the urban area of Yanqing, which is a natural summer resort.
