Grand Canal Forest Park
Grand Canal Forest Park is located on both sides of the North Canal, from the Sixth Ring Road Lutong Bridge in the north to the Wuyao Bridge in the south, with a total length of 8.6 kilometers and an area of about 1762 acres. Adhering to the design concept of "taking green as the body, water as the soul, and forest and water interdependent", the park has built "one river, two banks, six gardens, and eighteen scenes".
There are wetlands on the east and west banks of the park, planted with dozens of aquatic plants, such as reeds, calamus, lotuses, etc. Visitors can walk, cycle, or sit by the river and relax along the embankments.
It is worth mentioning that there is a half-moon-shaped "Moon Island" in the northwest of the park, and the small island has winding paths and beautiful scenery. Visitors stand on the viewing platform and enjoy the view of the canal.
