Beijing's numerous museums play an important role in inheriting the long-standing ancient culture of the city. Based on the characteristics of the museums, we have designed three study tour routes:
1. "Museums on the Central Axis" Circuit:
National Museum of China, the Palace Museum, Prince Kung's Palace Museum, Zhengyangmen Hall of China Railway Museum, Bell and Drum Tower Cultural Relics Preservation Office, Temple of Wen Tianxiang, and Wangfujing Paleolithic Museum.
2. "The Origin of Beijing and Its People" Circuit:
Zhoukoudian Beijing Man Site Museum, Shangzhai Culture Exhibition Hall, Exhibition Hall of Shanrong Culture, Beijing Archaeological Site Museum (Liulihe Site), Beijing Archaeological Site Museum (Jinzhongdu Shuiguan Site), Changping
Museum, Pinggu Museum, and Shunyi Museum.
3. "Museums in Ancient Temples" Circuit:
Beijing Confucius Temple and Guozijian Museum (Imperial College Museum), the Museum of Tibetan Buddhist Art in Yonghe Gong Lama Temple, Beijing Fangshan Yunju Temple Stone Sutra Museum, Beijing Museum of Imperial Temples (Lidai Diwangmiao Museum), White Pagoda Temple Management Office, Dajue Temple and Tuan Cheng Management Office, Beijing Cultural and Art Exchange Hall (Zhihua Temple), Dazhong Temple Ancient Bell Museum, Beijing Art Museum, Beijing Stone Carving Art Museum, and Beijing Fahai Temple Museum.
Theme 2 Red Culture Theme Tour
Beijing has rich and profound revolutionary cultural resources and a strong red gene. The rich and profound Red Culture has nurtured many red-themed museums. We have designed three red-themed museum study circuits.
4. "Early Revolutionary Activities of the Chinese Communist Party in Beijing" Circuit:
Former Site of the Early Revolutionary Activities of the Chinese Communist Party in Beijing (Peking University Honglou), Li Dazhao's Former Residence, Cibeian, Li Dazhao Martyrs Cemetery, and the Changxingdian Memorial Hall of February 7th Revolution.
5. "Anti-Japanese War Theme Museum"Circuit:
The Museum of the War of Chinese People's Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, Jiaozhuanghu Underground Tunnel Museum, Pingbei Anti-Japanese War Memorial Museum, Pingxi Anti-Japanese War Memorial Museum, and the Headquarters of the Jin-Ji-Lu-Yu Anti-Japanese Aggression Troops Exhibition Hall.
6. "Museums on the Way to the Imperial Examination in Beijing" Circuit:
Xiangshan Shuangqing Villa, Xiangshan Revolution Memorial Hall, Qinghuayuan Railway Station, and Yishou Hall in the Summer Palace.
