Xuannan Culture Museum is located in Changchun Temple, a national key cultural relic protection unit. Since 2019, the second large-scale restoration of cultural relics carried out on Changchun Temple after the liberation has been launched, and the original exhibition of the museum was also upgraded at the same time.

Today, Changchun Temple, the "First Temple of the Capital", has already been restored. After upgrading the exhibition, Xuanan Museum takes the history and culture of Xuannan community of scholars as its theme, vividly displaying the long history and rich culture of Xuannan area. The main exhibition, The Sounds of Wind, Rain and Book - Reading, History and Culture of Xuannan Community of Scholars in Beijing, shows the humanistic spirit of scholars who cared about the fate of their country, took the lead of the times, and took on great responsibilities. In terms of design form, it is guided by the "immersive" museum experience. The exhibition takes the viewer's experience as the starting point for its presentation and highlights the locality of culture. It respects the architectural form and integrates the beauty of architecture. In the limited space, the design is well organized to achieve the unity of heritage conservation, exhibition art effect and humanized viewing experience.
