China Science and Technology Museum
The new building of the China Science and Technology Museum is located to the east of the Asian Games Village, to the west of the Olympic Water System, to the south of several Olympic Main Stadiums, and facing north towards the Forest Park. The new building has a distinctive design, with an overall large monolithic square volume. It uses several block-like units that are interlocked like building blocks, creating a huge "Lu Ban lock" appearance, resembling a Rubik's Cube, with interlocking blocks forming a large square body, conveying the meaning of "unlocking" and "exploring". The new museum has five theme exhibition halls: "Science Paradise", "China's Light," "Exploration and Discovery," "Technology and Life," and "Challenge and Future," as well as public display areas, a dome cinema, giant screen cinema, dynamic cinema, and 4D cinema. The dome cinema serves both as a planetarium and as a cinema. In addition, there are multiple laboratories, classrooms, science popularization lecture halls, multi-function halls, and temporary exhibition halls.
The permanent exhibitions center around the theme of "Innovation and Harmony", aiming to stimulate scientific interest and inspire scientific concepts. Through interactive and experiential methods, the museum guides the public into the process of exploring and discovering science.

Beijing Museum of Natural History
The Beijing Museum of Natural History is located in the Tianqiao area on the south-central axis of Beijing, with the World Cultural Heritage site Tiantan Park behind it and facing the modern Tianqiao Performing Arts area. Its main focus is on specimen collection, scientific research, and science popularization in the fields of paleontology, animals, plants, and anthropology.
The museum covers an area of over 15,000 square meters, with a building area of over 21,000 square meters, and an exhibition area of over 10,000 square meters. Many specimens are considered unique both domestically and internationally, such as the "Jurassic mother of China," the Zhuchengtyrannus magnus, the Heishan Haplocheirus which has completed full-body feather color reconstruction, and the only-known preserved terror bird specimen in China. The museum also houses world-famous fossils, such as the ancient Yellow River elephant skull, the 26-meter-long Jinyun Mamenxi dragon fossil, the only dinosaur mummy fossil in China, polar bears, rhinos, and more.
To better showcase these precious specimens to the public, the basic display of the Beijing Museum of Natural History is based on biological evolution, displaying biodiversity and the relationship between organisms and their environment, and constructing a panoramic view of the development of life on earth.
According to the psychological characteristics of young people, the Beijing Museum of Natural History has developed interactive science education activities to explore the mysteries of nature, attracting countless young friends who love nature. Activities like "Animal-Human Friends" and "Dinosaur Park" allow children to explore nature and love science in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

Beijing Planetarium
The Beijing Planetarium, the first large-scale planetarium in China, officially opened to the public in 1957. Its rich and colorful exhibition projects and advanced science popularization facilities allow visitors to learn about the mysteries of the universe through fun visits and experiences.
The Beijing Planetarium consists of two halls, Hall A and Hall B. The "Universe Odyssey" exhibition in Hall B is a permanent exhibition. The exhibition content is not confined to traditional basic astronomical knowledge. Through static displays, dynamic displays, interactive experiences, and other methods, it comprehensively and vividly presents related knowledge and the latest developments in the universe.
The Tianxiang Hall at the Beijing Planetarium is the largest horizontal planetarium in mainland China, with advanced equipment such as the Caisi IX optical planetarium and an all-sky digital projection system. It can not only realistically display over 6,000 stars visible to the naked eye on Earth and high-resolution 8K dome images, but also provide virtual celestial demonstrations and digital program playback. In Hall B, there are three science popularization theaters: the Universe Theater, the 4D Theater, and the 3D Theater. Among them, the Universe Theater, with a diameter of 18 meters, has a standard hemisphere all-sky silver screen that can present a magnificent three-dimensional celestial sky effect.
In addition to the science popularization theaters, the Beijing Planetarium also has science education facilities such as the Astronomy Exhibition Hall, the Solar Observation Platform, the Public Observatory, and the Astronomy Classroom, which meet the astronomy popularization needs of the public in various ways.
