Aranya, just 2 hours away from Beijing, is a place people want to visit every summer. In addition to the Seashore Chapel and the Solitary Library, there are beach-themed hotels and B&Bs, avant-garde independent art buildings, and high-quality small shops at the end of the beach. If you couldn't get tickets for Mayday's concert, why not visit Aranya again this summer!
Aranya Seashore Chapel
Even after visiting Aranya many times, the Seashore Chapel never ceases to amaze. If you want to capture a photo with a sense of solitude, you must put some thought into the shutter speed.
Solitary Library
This original art space, built with a combination of concrete and wood, has become a pilgrimage site for countless people visiting Aranya since its construction 15 years ago. Pick up a book, sit down, and listen to the sound of the waves as you read. A series of interconnected cellular spaces make up the rich features of the Dune Art Museum. As the first branch of the UCCA Ullens Center for Contemporary Art, a series of high-quality art exhibitions are presented here.
Dionysus Theater
Facing the sea, with a circular stage and a semi-enclosed audience seating area... The Dionysus Theater's name and posture pay homage to ancient Greek theater while also seeking to return to the essence of drama.
Equestrian Center
As China's first community equestrian center, the children's area and the adult area in the entire venue are separated, making it very safe and suitable for parent-child experiences and horseback riding lessons.
Doghouse Hotel
A hotel where you can vacation with your pets and also provides various pet services. The cold gray exterior of the building itself is a popular landmark, even if you didn't bring a pet.
Seaside Theater
Located next to the skateboard park, this red building has not officially opened yet but has already attracted a wave of interesting people who come here for photos.
Leave some time to witness the sunrise or sunset on the shores of Aranya. The sunrise and sunset here always evoke a sense of grandeur and splendor. The sun slowly rising or setting above the sea, repeatedly breaking through the clouds and haze, makes everything appear gentle through the smoky orange or amber filter.
