Cloisonne Art Museum of China

Beijing cloisonne technique is called "Jing Tai Lan" because it matured in the Jingtai period of the Ming dynasty.

The manufacturing process of cloisonne integrates many professional techniques such as fine arts, carving, inlay, glass smelting and metallurgy and so on, carrying distinctive Chinese style and profound cultural connotation.

In 2006, the technique was inscribed on the National Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage.

In June 2012, Beijing Enamel Factory established China's first cloisonne art museum. The museum chronicles the development of the enamel factory for more than 60 years, displaying cloisonne of all periods and many other classic works.

There is Qin Shi Huang's "copper" carriage, mahogany cloisonne ruyi, various literary tools, giant gourds, incense burners and cranes by the emperor's throne... Step into the Cloisonne art museum and feel the charming blue.
