Majiawan Wetland Park

Majiawan Wetland Park is located in the Zhangwan Town section of the Xiaotaihou River in Chaoyang District. The main viewing landscapes include open-air platforms, waterfront piers, etc. The park also retains an ancient bridge of the Liao Dynasty. It crosses the long Xiaotaihou River, next to a historic ancient city wall, and form an antique landscape together.

The deeper you go into the park, the more exciting the scenery becomes. The park is built along the Xiaotaihou River, with lush trees on both sides. A central river runs through the park, arched bridges connect the banks, and a large area of reeds grow next to the boardwalk.  

Majiawan Wetland Park actually has only one road that runs around the lake. Surrounded by chirping birds and greenery, the road is a very beautiful green ecological corridor.

Walking on this green corridor, you can see the blooming flowers and the pleasant scenery, and feel the warm breeze blowing from time to time, which is very suitable for a leisurely walk.

Nanhaizi Park

Nanhaizi Park is located on the south side of the South 5th Ring Road in the northeast of Daxing District, between Daxing Xincheng and Yizhuang Xincheng. The park focuses on the construction of wetland landscapes, royal culture areas, elk protection areas, ecological leisure areas and other functional areas, and it echoes the Olympic culture in the north and the history and culture of the central city.

The crisscrossing quaint wooden boardwalk close to the water surface not only allows visitors to appreciate aquatic plants up close, but also enables them to feel the artistic conception of babbling streams and reeds.

The water here is clear and transparent, and you can catch a glimpse of small fish in the water by walking on the trail on the edge of the lake; Standing on a high place, you can see the intertwined greenery and clear lake water, like an elegant and beautiful landscape picture.
