2023-04-27

In today's fast-paced life, "take some time out from a hectic work schedule" seems to become more and more of a luxury. Walking into a bookstore is a good choice to relax and ease the mind. In recent years, some bookstores in Beijing that combine aesthetics and connotations have become new Internet-famous spot. These internet-famous bookstores not only provide a good reading environment, but also a great place for leisure and relaxation. Come and check them out!

Zhongshuge Bookstore

Zhongshuge occupies an area of 1,100 square meters in the Galeries Lafayette, with 5 areas inside, including the concept area, cultural and creative activities area, reading area, coffee area, and children's book area, with over 50,000 books available.

Each Zhongshuge bookstore has its unique design. The photos taken on the spot have a Chinese style and a feeling of "Inception". The ceiling and walls are made of mirrors, reflecting and refracting light to form a moon arch that surrounds and stacks layer by layer, making people feel like they are in a maze, yet also like they have traveled to the future.

Walking into the bookstore, the porch unfolds gently, and behind the multiple doors lies a "Peach Blossom Spring" for readers. The bookshelves are like walls, and the arches resemble classical garden gates embedded in them. Looking through the continuous arches, one can see the scattered space, irresistibly prompting people to explore deeper and deeper.

Walking through the bamboo grove and arriving at the book gallery, the bookshelves are transformed into screens, where one can choose books of interest, sit behind the screen, drink coffee, or discuss with companions in a relaxed manner.

Zhongshuge has two other branches in Beijing, located in the Raycom Infotech Park and Kirin Place.
