On this night with a spring breeze, take a night tour of Beijing!
Wudaoying Hutong
Wudaoying Hutong is located on the North Second Ring Road. In the Ming dynasty, there were barracks guarding the city stationed here, called Wudeweiying. In the Qing Dynasty, the Manchu bannermen renamed it "Wudaoying" according to the pronunciation of "Wude". After Qianlong Period, the appearance of hutongs was basically formed here. After the founding of the People's Republic of China, there were 69 courtyards in this 600-meter-old hutong, and it was officially named "Wudaoying Hutong" in 1965.
Enjoy the night view
The night in Wudaoying Hutong is beautiful. When night falls, the small shops on both sides of the alley are lit up. There are warm lights, shops of different shapes, vibrant greenery in spring, blooming flowers, tourists, etc. Various elements are intertwined, creating a warm atmosphere unique to Wudaoying Hutong at night.
In addition to the various decorative lights of the hutong shops, the street lamps here are also unique palace lamps, which add to the literary and artistic atmosphere of Wudaoying Hutong at night. Neatly arranged books and retro-style clothes are enveloped by the light, which is both soft and beautiful.
Taste the food
Various styles of gourmet restaurants have settled in Wudaoying Hutong, including traditional Chinese, Thai, Japanese, and American restaurants, etc., which can satisfy the needs of different tourists. There are also a variety of bars for a drink and gossip.
Many small shops have terraces or outdoor dining areas, and you can enjoy the evening breeze, night view and food in the evening.
Watch LiveHouse
As one of the most literary hutongs in Beijing, Wudaoying Hutong is not only a gathering place for literary and art shops, but also a well-known place to see the live house.
"Livehouse" is short for "Live Music House". Unlike the bar with demanding singing techniques, the live house show highlights the rhythm of instrumental music and the charm of the band. It is a real-time, unembellished, and unchoreographed live performance.
Come to Wudaoying Hutong and feel the enthusiastic atmosphere of the live house!
