2023-04-17

China National Botanical Garden (North Garden)

The tulip exhibition at the National Botanical Garden (North Garden) has a long history and is the highlight of the spring blossom viewing season.

On the west side of the Science Popularization Hall of the National Botanical Garden (North Garden), the main exhibition area of nearly 8,000 square meters displays more than 200,000 bulb flowers of more than 100 varieties such as tulips, hyacinths, and daffodils, decorating the botanical garden as a sea of flowers.

Colorful tulips divide the entire exhibition area into different color blocks bands, and all kinds of flowers rise and fall with the terrain. The surrounding peach blossoms and begonia intermingle, creating different landscape effects. The blue sky and white clouds, distant mountains and green trees constitute a beautiful ecological picture.

Zhongshan Park

On April 3, the Tulip Viewing Season in Zhongshan Park kicked off. This year, Zhongshan Park has highlighted the characteristics of Chinese traditional culture, designed patterns of kites, ducks, water ripples and so on, and carefully arranged six themed scenic spots.

Tulips are swaying under the towering ancient cypress and red-walled royal garden buildings. It is understood that this year, Zhongshan Park will exhibit for the first time the double-petaled tulip with changing colors over time.

During the Tulip Viewing Season, Zhongshan Park Cultural and Creative Store launches many special cultural and creative products, such as tulip luminous lollipops, tulip fans and popsicles, allowing visitors to enjoy the flowers in the park while adding a different kind of fun.
