Intangible Cultural Heritage in the Museum | China Cloisonne Art Museum

2023-04-04

In the long-standing Chinese culture, Chinese traditional skills are like stars in the sky, exuding brilliant light in the long river of time.

Let's feel the charm of intangible cultural heritage culture in museums with different intangible cultural heritage skills!

China Cloisonne Art Museum

China Cloisonne Art Museum is the first cloisonne art museum in China established by Beijing Enamel Factory in June 2012. Documenting the development of the enamel factory for more than 60 years, it is a must-see for cloisonne lovers with cloisonne boutiques from all periods and many classic pieces.

Walking into the museum, you feel like entering a grotesque and bizarre world, where there are Qinshihuang's "copper" carriages shining with cloisonne, mahogany cloisonne Ruyi, four treasures of the study, incense burners and cranes on the emperor's throne, giant gourds, etc.

It is worth mentioning that the museum is equipped with skill displays areas, interactive areas and a multimedia teaching and research room, covering more than 1,000 square meters, where visitors can visit the cloisonne production process, interact with the masters, and under the guidance of senior craft technicians, personally participate in cloisonne filigree craft production.

5,000 years of Chinese civilization have created countless artistic treasures, and the copper-tipped cloisonne enamel craft is particularly eye-catching. In 2006, cloisonne production techniques were included in the National Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage. Let's walk into the China Cloisonne Art Museum and feel the touching blue.
