In the early days, Wangjing was just a village in the west of Jiuxianqiao. In 1987, high-rise buildings were constructed in Wangjing, and the first residential community was built on a peppercorn field, named "Huajiadi". Starting from Huajiadi community, Wangjing gradually took on the appearance of a modern urban area by the end of the century.
In 2001, the new campus of the Central Academy of Fine Arts (CAFA) was relocated to Wangjing, and many artists began to gather there. In 2002, many artists' studios and contemporary art organizations gathered in 798, gradually forming an art community. As the art district continued to develop and gain recognition, Wangjing became a well-known art gathering place, with a cultural atmosphere spreading to the Jiuxianqiao and Lidu areas.
AITA CYCLE
AITA CYCLE is a unique presence in the 798 art district as a bicycle culture shop. The shop owner hopes that cycling culture can return to the city, so the shop not only provides bicycles with a design sense, but also offers bicycle services and derivatives. The shop mainly provides high-end customization services, such as frame customization and accessory modification. If you have the opportunity to see the boss's modification process, it will surely be an unforgettable experience. In addition to modification services, professional equipment such as cycling clothes, glasses, gloves, and socks are also available for sale. The shop is mainly white in color, with a strong sense of space and clear functional zoning. When you enter, you can see a cabinet full of bicycle parts, which is very impressive.

CAFA Art Museum
The Central Academy of Fine Arts Museum was relocated to the Wangjing area in 2001. The completion of this prestigious institution suddenly made the artistic and cultural atmosphere of the Wangjing area more intense. Near CAFA, you can see advertisements for all kinds of training institutions, as if the closer the training place is to CAFA, the closer the admission results will be. In order to provide convenience for students, there is also a well-stocked art supply store at the school gate, which has everything CAFA needs, from brushes and drawing boards to sculpture clay. The new CAFA Art Museum, designed by the famous Japanese designer Arata Isozaki, was completed and opened in Huajiadi in 2008. The CAFA Art Museum was selected as one of the first "National Key Museums" in 2010. The museum collects over 13,000 works of art, including those by modern art masters and outstanding works by students from all past classes since the school was established. The graduation exhibition of CAFA students is one of the important exhibitions that the art world looks forward to every year. Undergraduate and graduate students' carefully prepared graduation works are displayed here, and their unique creativity and profound ideas are understood and discovered by everyone.
