Kite flying has always been one of the most popular activities in spring. At present, the lawn on the north side of Wild Duck Island is the only area in the park where flying kites can be carried out, and many citizens and tourists come here with kites to relax and exercise. Especially on weekends, parents run and laugh with their children, and colorful kites fly lightly in the blue sky. 

In this warm season when grass grows and warblers fly, let's fly kites together.

Security tips 

It is a good time to fly kites. However, don't underestimate the thin kite line. The following are some tips.

(1) Fly in an open and flat place to leave plenty of space for the start.

(2) Choose a location with few obstacles, especially avoid power poles, large trees, etc.

(3) Stay away from crowds so that kites do not get tangled together.

(4) Choose a kite line with a striking color, or tie a marker to the kite to remind others to avoid the kite line.

(5) It is not advisable to put the kite too high, so as not to lose control, lose the kite or hurt yourself.

(6) Choose sunny weather with a stable wind direction, and avoid going out to fly kites in weather with thunder and lightning.

(7) Try to wear gloves, because the kite line is very sharp and it is easy to scratch the fingers.

(8) Children should choose small kites suitable for children, and at the same time be supervised by adults; Use cotton kite thread so as not to be too tough and cause harm to children.

The 8th "Spring of Chinese Symphony" by the National Centre for the Performing Arts

From March 30th to April 30th, the 8th "Spring of Chinese Symphony" by the National Centre for the Performing Arts will open magnificently. A number of symphonic brigades, conductors and artists from all over the country will gather at the National Centre for the Performing Arts to present wonderful concerts to the audience for more than a month. 

In order to enrich the audience's symphony viewing forms, the NCPA Art Screening Hall combined with the theme of "Chinese Symphony Spring" to specially plan two restored concert video screenings, presenting the Karajan and Berlin Philharmoniker concerts and Bernstein and Vienna Philharmonic concerts on April 1 and 17 respectively.
