Beijing Xishan National Forest Park is located in Xiaoxishan, a western suburb of Beijing, which belongs to the remnants of the Taihang Mountains, with a total area of 739.4 hectares. The park is adjacent to the West Fifth Ring Road and is the closest national forest park to downtown Beijing.

The gate area covers an area of about 60 acres, and skilled craftsmen have built a comprehensive landscape integrating waterfalls, cascading waters, streams and lakes. In combination with the mountain situation, many characteristic plant scenic spots and cultural landscapes such as the peony garden, Ziwei garden, magnolia garden, plum garden, and flower stream have been built.

Xiaoxishan slopes are full of peach and apricot flowers and greens. Hundreds of flowers are ready to bloom, from winter jasmine and mountain peach blossoms to apricot blossoms, from magnolia and forsythia to peaches and elm leaf plums, from the bottom of the mountain to the top. Flowers are waiting to bloom, and flowers are constantly blooming.

The red cherry blossoms, pink peach blossoms, bright yellow forsythia, tender green willows, and deep green pines and cypresses are all set against the background of the warm spring sun and clear blue sky, forming a colorful picture scroll unique to spring.

Beijing Back Garden

Beijing Back Garden Scenic Area covers an area of 7.78 million square meters, with a main peak height of 880 meters, located at the intersection of Zhongguancun and Yangfang, 25 kilometers away from the city. Beijing Back Garden consists of 36 scenic spots and more than 500 natural landscapes such as Beijing Baihujian Forest Park and Back Garden Inn.

Walking into the back garden of Beijing, the majestic atmosphere comes with the towering peaks. The north peak is called the white tiger, the south mountain is called the green dragon, which likes a pair of mighty mountain gods guarding Beijing. 

There is a forest like a sea, cliffs with sharp axes, charming eighteen sacred pools, nine sparkling reservoirs, majestic and magnificent peaks, 81 steep and connected natural caves, as well as handwritings and fascinating legends left by emperors and famous writers.

In mid-March, the 10,000-acre scenic area in Beijing's back garden is full of gorgeous peach blossoms. Walking up the steps, you can see the peach blossoms blooming on the side of the road while admiring the strange rocks of the mountain, and the refreshing fragrance of peach blossoms adds to the fun of climbing. 

Peach blossoms bloom densely on the branches on the side of the road, and peach trees seem to be surrounded by pink clouds. 

Climb in the back garden between the mountains, the higher you go, the more beautiful the scenery. You can see a sea of pink flowers when you look back.
