National Tourism and Leisure Blocks in Beijing | 751D·PARK

2023-03-13

The predecessor of 751D·PARK is the fifth branch of the state-owned Beijing North China Wireless Joint Equipment Factory, which was set up in 1955. It was once one of the three major gas plants in Beijing, alongside Beijing Coking Plant and Shougang Gas Plant. In recent years, 751D·PARK has turned the industrial heritages such as abandoned factories, old workshops and facilities into an innovative recreation space, transforming the industrial remains into an urban landscape.

When you enter the 751 Park, you will be greeted with a strong industrial style, where industrial sites such as desulfurization towers, railways and gas storage tanks have been preserved, but modern fashion elements have also been incorporated. After decades, the plants and facilities are still charming despite the vicissitudes. The newly built plants contrast strongly with the old ones, dazzling and attractive.

From afar, the towering chimneys, German-style power plants, antique steam trains, large spiral gas tanks, spectacular cracking furnaces and crisscrossing pipelines are unique scenes of industrial civilization at various stages, telling the stories of the past. By integrating the old and the new, 751D·PARK turns various industrial relics into scenic spots, making it a great place to tag on social media.

Address: No. 4 Jiuxianqiao Road, Chaoyang District, Beijing
