Minning Town is also known as Shan Hai Qing in Chinese. "Shan" refers to Ningxia Hui autonomous region and "Hai" refers to Fujian Province. The story of Minning Town tells the story of the poor people in Xiji, Haiyuan and Guyuan Counties of Ningxia Hui autonomous region. 

Under the guidance of the national poverty alleviation policy and the help of Fujian Province, they have migrated and moved. The story of Minning Town in Ningxia became widely known in 2021 with the hit TV series. In 2022, National Center for the Performing Arts will stage this work, which once again demonstrates the positive practical significance, far-reaching social influence and unique artistic charm of the original work through music and stage art.
