The China Garden Museum is the first national museum with the theme of garden in China, covering an area of 65000 square meters. It is an important window to comprehensively display the long history, splendid culture, multiple functions and brilliant achievements of Chinese gardens with the concept of "Chinese Gardens - Our Ideal Home".

The China Garden Museum is mainly composed of exhibition hall, indoor exhibition area and outdoor exhibition area. The museum displays more than 200 kinds of plants and more than 10 kinds of rocks, reflecting the diversity of traditional Chinese gardens. There are 16 kinds of collections in the museum with a great time span, including pottery, porcelain, wood, ancient books, etc., displaying the development of Chinese gardens completely.

On March 7, "Colorful Clothes - Chinese Women's National Costumes" was launched in the No.1 theme hall of China Garden Museum. It's supported by the Beijing Museum Society and co-organized by China Garden Museum, the China Nation Museum of Women and Children and Ethnic Costume Museum of Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology. A total of 180 pieces (sets) of exhibits were displayed on site, mainly selecting the traditional female costumes of 33 ethnic groups with unique regional characteristics, showing the unique artistic charm and cultural value of female ethnic costumes.
