The exhibition "Colorful Clothes - Chinese Women's National Costumes" was launched in the No.1 theme hall of China Garden Museum.

The exhibition is supported by the Beijing Museum Society and co-organized by China Garden Museum, the China Nation Museum of Women and Children and Ethnic Costume Museum of Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology. A total of 180 pieces (sets) of exhibits were displayed on site, mainly selecting the traditional female costumes of 33 ethnic groups with unique regional characteristics, showing the unique artistic charm and cultural value of female ethnic costumes.

Traditional national costumes are made from nature. Fish skin, silk, flax, cotton and wool can all be used as raw materials. They are decorated with beautiful patterns of the sun, moon and stars, mountains and rivers, rare birds and exotic animals, plants, flowers and birds to express their yearning for a better life.

The exhibition officially opens today and will last until October 8. On the opening day, the volunteer service team wear characteristic female national costumes to show the artistic beauty of natural elements.
