Located on the Qianhaixi Street, Prince Gong's Mansion was first built during the reign of Emperor Qianlong in the Qing Dynasty and its owners changed several times. The mansion is a fine example of Chinese garden architecture.

The "three masterpieces and one treasure" of Prince Kung's Mansion are well known. The first masterpiece is the "western-style gate". The white marble arch gate with western style was built by Prince Kung.

The second masterpiece is a stele with the Chinese character “Fu”, located in the Miyun Cave under the Dicui Rock of Huayuanzhong Road. It’s the treasure here which was written by the Emperor Kangxi and engraved with seal.

Located in the east of the Moon Appreciation Terrace, Grand Theater is the third masterpiece. This is a completely closed theater in China covering an area of nearly 700 square meters, which can accommodate more than 200 people. What is more unique is that although there is no sound equipment, the sound of the stage can be heard clearly from all angles. It is said that this is because the nine vats placed around the stage play the effect of gathering sound.

A treasure of Prince Gong's Mansion refers to the Chinese characters "Fu" everywhere. It is said that there are more than 10,000 "fu" characters so that the famous palace survived the invasion of Beijing by the eight-power allied forces.
