In 2018, Xiayuan Village held its first Art Life Festival, bringing together artists from many fields such as sculpture, music, painting, dance, drama and video. They are very busy painting, making pottery, singing and dancing with the villagers, and selling homemade handmade products in the environmental protection market. In April 2022, convened by the village committee, dozens of artists, villagers and children jointly painted a 200-square-meter wall painting reflecting life in Xiayuan. The open space in the south of the village has been turned into a sculpture plaza. Sculptures such as Sun Jiabao's Lao Zi, Wang Shaojun's Crossing Kunlun and Guozizi's The Shape of Spring Breeze are kept as permanent facilities in Xiayuan Village.

After years of development, Xiayuan Village has become an art village integrating art, experience, homestay, catering and cycling. Relying on the accumulation of art resources in Xiayuan Village for nearly 30 years, Kanpu Space Courtyard has created themed Spaces with different styles, such as painting, music, modern dance, cycling club, cross-country club and art market, so that guests can have close contact with their favorite art forms. "Kanpu Small Canteen" integrates characteristic catering and art display, with Qiandongnan Sour soup hot pot as the main dish. It also holds several series of art works exhibitions. "Nathan Monk Space" features catering, coffee, bar, games, music in one, and music is an essential accompaniment to the meal here.

Quiet winter's day, you can have a cup of coffee, visit an art exhibition, experience a game, pick sweet strawberries and appreciate beautiful scenery after snow in meiyukou reservoir, experience fun in the ski resort, and finally fall asleep in traditional houses full of artistic features.
