The Great Wall
In 1987, the Great Wall was added to the World Heritage List. The Great Wall has a history of more than 2,000 years up and a length of more than 100,000 li (50000 kilometers). It is like a giant dragon stretching across the mountains, rivers, lakes and seas and lying across the land of northern China.
The Great Wall was a great military defensive project built by successive Chinese dynasties on the country's northern border from the 3rd century BC to the 17th century AD. The Great Wall stretches from Shanhai Pass in Hebei Province in the east to Jiayu Pass in Gansu Province in the west, with a total length of more than 20,000 kilometers. Its main body includes walls, horse roads, enemy platforms, and small houses, as well as castles, passes and other related military facilities.
Today's Great Wall carries the spirit of the times of peace, openness and inclusiveness, and welcomes friends from all over the world to appreciate its magnificent majesty.

Peking Man Site at Zhoukoudian
In 1987, the Peking Man Site of Zhoukoudian was included in the World Cultural Heritage List. Located in the north of Longgu Mountain, Zhoukoudian Town, Fangshan District, Beijing, the Peking Man Site at Zhoukoudian is one of the richest, most systematic and valuable early Paleolithic human sites in the world.
The Peking Man Site of Zhoukoudian is divided into two parts: one is the site park and the other is the museum. The Park mainly displays original fossil excavation sites, as well as some field displays of formations. The museum's exhibitions are informative and visitors can learn a lot of interesting archaeological knowledge such as "the first to wear shoes".
From February 13th to 19th, the 3rd National Archaeological Site Park Culture and Art Week was held in Zhoukoudian, Fangshan District, Beijing. Visitors can visit the cultural market, watch the "Beijinger" 4D film, immerse themselves in "Meet the Ancestors" and learn about ancient culture.
Under the guidance of science staff, children can use professional tools to clean and restore fossils, or use professional excavation tools to simulate excavation in the 300-square-meter simulated archaeological excavation area in the site area. In the process, they can clean and identify the excavated fossils to fully learn fossil knowledge.
