The Site of Headquarters of Ji-Re-Cha Army-to-Push Forward of the Eighth Routh Army is located in a courtyard house in Zhaitang Town, Malan Village. The courtyard towards the south and its gate is located in the southeast corner. It is composed of a total of 10 well preserved tile-roofed houses. It is a municipal cultural relic protection unit.
The exhibition hall was built on July 7, 1997. It is the first village revolutionary themed exhibition hall initiated and held by farmers. It covers an area of 680 square meters with construction area of 131 square meters and exhibition area of 48.2 square meters; The exhibition area is divided into 4 rooms, where 103 pieces of objects and 175 pictures are displayed.
The exhibition hall uses a large number of objects and historical pictures to show that under the leadership of Communist Party of China, Hebei-Rehe-Chahar Forward army fully mobilize the masses, carry out the armed struggle against Japan, and establish the Pingxi Anti-Japanese Base. At the same time, it also shows the historical facts that Malan villagers actively supported the army, sent their sons to join the army. They fought bravely, even sacrificed their lives, and cooperated with the army during the Anti-Japanese War.
