Walking into the gate of the site of the Jing Bao Office, visitors can see four bold characters "Tie Jian La Shou" immediately, telling visitors about Shao Piaoping's life belief and practice. The former residence is a two-story building with a combination of Chinese and Western elements. Above the front door, three characters "Jing Bao Guan" (Jing Bao Office) were inscribed by Shao Piaoping. The building towards the west is somewhat dilapidated somewhat. We can only consider the past years from the old window lattice and mottled stone columns. There is also a bronze statue of Shao Piaoping, for visitors to pay respects.

Site of the Jing Bao Office once was the former residence of Shao Piaoping, founder of Jing Bao, a famous newspaper in the Republic of China. Site of the Jing Bao Office was also an important field for the spread of Marxism. The cultural relics cover an area of 1,120 square meters and the building area is about 820 square meters.

There are special exhibitions such as "Jing Bao and Jing Bao Office", "Century-old Red Newspapers" and "Shao Piaoping's Life Story", all of which are important witnesses of the history of the Communist Party of China.

Site of the Jing Bao Office was listed as one of cultural relic protection units in Beijing in 1984. In 2020, it was listed as one of the sites of the early revolutionary activities of the Communist Party of China in Beijing. In 2021, it was listed as Beijing Patriotism Education Base; In 2022, it was selected as the Practice Base of Civilization in the New Era. The site of the Jing Bao Office is open to the public as the Red Newspaper Museum and the former residence of Shao Piaoping.
