Address: Jiaozhuang Village, Longwantun Town, Shunyi District, Beijing
Jiaozhuanghu village is lead by East Hebei Resistance Base in war times, which was the only way to Pingxi and Pingbei Resistance Bases. In order to commemorate the heroic achievements of revolutionary martyrs and to educate people on patriotism, the exhibition room reproduced the historical pictures of Jiao Zhuanghu's heroic struggle with the enemy under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, by displaying detailed materials, precious cultural relics and real tunnel battle sites.
Built in 1964, Beijing Jiaozhuanghu Tunnel Battle Site Memorial Hall is located at the foot of Waituo Mountain, a stretching branch of Yan Mountain. With an area of nearly 47,700 square meters, the memorial hall is designed in the style of traditional courtyard house in rural areas of northern China, with cyan as its main color. It is now divided into exhibition hall area, tunnel area, and residence area during the Anti-Japanese War.
The remains of the tunnel are 830 meters long. There are lounges and command posts and war facilities such as individual shelters, traps, grinding bases and temple terrace shooting holes. There are also militia watchtowers and secluded entrances and exits such as water tanks, the flue of a kang, stoves, pigsties, woodsheds and donkey troughs.
