This is the Beijing Services Demonstration Center for the Disabled People, featuring barrier-free construction and providing safe, convenient, comfortable, and barrier-free experience and services for all kinds of disabled people and those in need. This project was selected as one of the "National Top Ten Cases of Barrier-free Constructions in 2020". The center also launches various high-quality and high-level cultural activities to help the disabled and provides free internship and training classes about culture-related posts in the bookstore for the disabled.

The center has a large collection of large-print or Braille books and re-produced, understandable films for the visually impaired. Readers here could use listening-books machines to enjoy digitalized entertainment through technological means. They can also enjoy films in barrier-free cinemas. The Public Welfare Reading Space allows the disabled to experience the fun and charm of reading, stimulates their interest and enthusiasm for reading, enhances their cultural confidence, and lets the disabled share the fruits of the spiritual development of society.
