National Museum of Modern Chinese Literature is the first literary museum in China and the largest in the world. The museum is a treasure house of modern and contemporary literature in China and the main battleground for modern and contemporary literary research. It was initiated and established by Mr. Ba Jin, a literary leading authority, and has a collection of more than 800,000 manuscripts and letters of famous writers.
