Located next to the Waterfowl Lake, the Zoo Shop covers an area of 204 square meters and is a cultural & creative store that combines park and animal features with creative goods and science education. A sculpture of a pelican is placed outside the store, and the exhibits with  bright colors inside the store create a refreshing leisure environment.

The store features five major categories, more than 200 types and nearly 400 bird-themed products, including small otters praying with their eyes closed, cute squirrel key chains and long-beaked kiwi dolls. Among them, there are more than 20 kinds of cultural and creative products designed and developed on the basis of pelicans, all of which are exclusive to Beijing Zoo. The store includes animal plush toys, hand puppets, refrigerator stickers, key chains, mugs and other goods. The Zoo Shop was awarded the title of "Cultural Innovation 100" in the 2020 China Cultural Innovation Brand List.
